E-mail setup for iPhone on Gmail App

Follow our step-by-step guide to set up your e-mail account for iPhone on Gmail App.

Step 1

First open the gmail app on your phone and navigate to the add account option. If this is the first account you’re setting up it will be in the middle of the screen otherwise tap the profile picture in the top right and then select add another account.

Step 2

Select other (imap).

Step 3

Then enter your email address in the box labeled email address.

Step 4

enter incomming server

Then on the incoming server settings set your password to the one given.
set the IMAP server to: mail-01.datacenta.net
check the port is set to 993. Then tap next.

Step 5

enter outgoing server

Finally on the outgoing server settings page set your password again
set the IMAP server to mail-01.datacenta.net again
check the port is 587 this time.
Then tap next and you should be in your email.

Congratulations!

Your new e-mail address should now be up and running!
